Data Retention
RuneDiary automatically manages data retention based on your subscription tier to optimize storage and performance while preserving your most important data.
Retention Policies by Account Type:
RSN Only Accounts:
- Player highscores history: 1 year (rolling retention)
- Event data and images: Not stored (highscores tracking only)
Free Accounts:
- Player highscores history: 1 year (rolling retention)
- Event data and images: 1 month (automatically deleted after 30 days)
Premium Accounts:
- Player highscores history: 1 year (rolling retention)
- Event data and images: 1 year (automatically deleted after 365 days)
Important: When you downgrade from Premium to Free, events and images older than 1 month will be automatically deleted according to the Free tier retention policy. Highscores history retention remains unchanged.
If you delete your account, we will remove all your personal information and associated data within 30 days.
